Trinity UMC Library

Our church has been in the process of replacing the adult library furniture for three years. Our plan allowed us the replace each section without disturbing the library space. We also have been able to replace as finances become available. Through special monetary gifts and annual fund raisers we now have a new check out unit, the computer/display unit and four library stacks. We have two stacks yet to replace. Our goal was two fold. First, we needed more shelving and second, we wanted to open up the space to allow for better browsing and more pleasing aesthetics. We were ready to start using the tops of the old shelving units and two book carts to hold our books, dvds, cds and videos. All the furniture that was in the library has been repurposed elsewhere in our church. The reaction of our congregation to the ongoing project has been very positive.
